I hope you have kept track of all these articles, interviews, public presentations so that we can list them in the honorary degree nomination form when it becomes available.
I really haven’t kept track of them. When they turn up I post them here. I sure appreciate your work on my behalf to earn my degree, but please don’t go to too much trouble. It doesn’t bother me that much anymore.
I really like this article and Mark O'Hare's comment about being home talking to the plants. I was unprepared for how isolating cartooning and illustration can be, and the worst part is that I don't have any houseplants.
It's neat that a lot of cartooning history happens in places that many people probably wouldn't think of. It's even neater still that you have such a wonderful familial link to it all! Thank you for sharing this great article!
Great extra!! Thanks for sharing! As for remembering names, one of my favorite jokes is:
Two very elderly ladies were enjoying the sunshine on a park bench in Miami. They had been meeting that park every sunny day, for over 12 years, chatting and enjoying each others' friendship.
One day, the younger of the two ladies, turns to the other and says, "Please don't be angry with me dear, but I am embarrassed. After all these years, what is your name? I am trying to remember, but I just can't."
The older friend stares at her, looking very distressed, says nothing for 2 full minutes, and finally with tearful eyes, says, "How soon do you have to know?"

It's more of a crusade now!!
You deserve more than a participation trophy (even if it is a Lego trophy)
Nice story. I've always admired Dennis McLellan's work. Of course the work of you and the other guys too.
