Hi all. I will be looking and commenting late. Our 15 1/2 old Doxie, Cappie is not doing well. We have made the tough decision to send him to the rainbow bridge this afternoon. As you all know, it is the hardest. Looking forward to some much needed smiles and giggles.

I cracked up at Ralph taking a 10-key on a cruise!! Great detail on early Bob in flight.

Ok Kevin, time for some detective work. My 10 year old continues now to reread the books every night, and she had 2 questions I didn't know how to answer. From the Mall Cops, Ducks and Fenderheads book...on page 77, there is a stand alone Sunday strip where Norman is digging for dinosaur bones in the back yard. In one panel there is a dog that is neither Ginger or Wally. Who could it be? 2- on page 8, bottom strip about Patrick's hair, she thinks the word bubble is mixed up in the first panel, it should be Ralph talking, especially with his mouth open. I think she might be right. What do you think? And does she have a future as an editor?? :-)

I still owe Zoe a drawing! Please forgive me. I’ve been so distracted lately. I know you sent me your address but I couldn’t find it yesterday. Was it in an e- mail?

It was, no worries, I can resend it. And she has started drawing characters and is not too bad!

I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I disagree with Schulz's observation. Drabble has worked so well for so long because the age of Ralph and Honeybunch are often ambiguous. The strip can speak to young parents just as easily as it speaks to older parents or even empy nesters. I think the foibles and concerns of family life are consistent across all ages.
