Hi everybody!

This was an old Fagan family story. One of our uncles was known to have said this to a traveling salesman. Then, after drawing the strip, I saw this same gag in an old rerun of “I Love Lucy.” Oh boy.

Not sure why the blue tint on this. It must have something to do with the photo. I always use natural light, so maybe it was a little early in the morning.

This Sunday strip made no sense without color. So I colored in Norman’s Grape snow-cone face. I hope it doesn’t decrease the value of the original, but oh well.

Thanks for reading. Have a great weekend!

Little known fact (which I had long forgotten until this comic). I spent one day as a door-to-door vacuum salesperson. That day consisted of following a real salesperson around. I learned a lot that day. Namely, not to do that job. And that ended my career as a vacuum salesperson.
Grape's too sweet -- I'm partial to blue or red raspberry for the tartness. Have a great weekend, all!
