Hi everybody!
I have a little catching up to do, so here are strips from today’s date, yesterday’s date, and Saturday’s date.

I did a few bagpipes strips in the 80’s. I liked the gag of Patrick playing them all the time. I guess the bagpipes were too hard to draw. Sparky would be ashamed of me for giving up a good recurring gag because it was too hard to draw. Think of the detailed musical notes he drew whenever Schroeder played the piano. What a lightweight I am!

Norman and Patrick came across a suspicious package and thought it was a bomb, so they notified the bomb squad. Seems reasonable. It was actually Ralph’s priceless baseball card collection.

I made a couple of mistakes here. First, I obviously smeared the exclamation mark in the last box. Can you spot the other goof? I wonder if it’s only obvious to me. OK, here’s the goof: The lettering in Wally’s thought balloon looks fairly normal. When Wally (or Oogie or Bob) has a thought balloon, the lettering is usually different that when the humans think or say something.

Hard to believe my work has never won any awards.

I hate to be oppositional, but I believe your work did earn a trophy by all of us Drabbleites. 🏆

That smeared exclamation mark looks like something a lefthander like myself would do. I always have to ink from right to left, and even then I still get pencil smudges all over my palm.
In college I bought some left handed spiral notebooks bound on the opposite side and I thought I was so very clever. Until I attempted to take notes on the other side of the page and once again the binding dug into my hand. I think left handers need top bound notebooks.
I always love the summer strips where Ralph displaces all the pool water! 🤣
