Monday’s in my studio are both fun and scary. No idea yet what I’m going to draw this week. Should I do a story line or just a different gag each day? I don’t know yet. I’m kind of glad I have today’s newsletter to distract me for a little while.

A pre-Penny strip. I felt like I had so many ideas for preparing for a baby, I had to use them. Charles M. Schulz gently questioned me on if this was wise. Ralph and Honeybunch seemed much older back then. I realized I would have to indicate that they were younger than they had looked at the time. Schulz also had some funny suggestions for the baby, but he taught me never to use anyone else’s ideas, so they had to remain in the back of my mind forever. (They were really funny though!)
