Happy Monday! So far, so good, I hope!
A busy couple of weeks ahead for me. Kids and grandkids will be visiting for Gramma’s birthday next week, so I’ll have to work hard this week to get a week ahead. I don’t want to be tied to the drawing board when they’re here because they’ll probably want to do a bunch of fun things and might invite Grampa!
It seems like there is more going on than when our kids were little. Every few weeks I have to scramble to get ahead again so we can go places and do things. (I’m a homebody but my wife sure isn’t.) Fortunately, I always enjoy the challenge of getting a week or two ahead. I think a cartoonist has to have that mindset to survive in this business.
