Happy Monday!

Monday has been on my mind lately. My mom always told me I was born on a Monday. My wife looked it up a few days ago and discovered that the date of my birth actually fell on a Friday. Why did my mom tell me it was a Monday?

My parents also told me, among other things, that I was mostly Irish, that my great-grandmother was a Blackfoot Indian, and that my grandfather (who passed away before I was born) was from Ireland and spoke with an Irish brogue. My wife has disproven all of those things in her research of my ancestry. (I guess my parents couldn’t tell the difference between an Irish brogue and a Hillbilly drawl.)

It’s like I’ve been living a lie all these years! I don’t know who I am anymore. It’s a good thing I’m a cartoonist and can turn all this material into comic strips!

Our original strips today include a couple of Wally Sundays…

Honeybunch is in the hospital awaiting the arrival of Penny. Ralph has apparently been working undercover at the mall.
