Hi friends!
I got a little work done on a recent plane flight.
I’m glad I got some cartoon ideas because it distracted me from the knowledge that I was 35,000 feet in the air.
Anyway, our three strips from this date, plus a bonus…

Nice ink blot in the margin! Glad it didn’t drip on my pants this time!

By the way, I visited the site of the Laguna Hills Mall, where the Mall Cop idea began. I saw a security guard walking around the mall and thought it would be a good occupation for Ralph. I didn’t know what to call him, then after a conversation with my brother, the term “mall cop” was born.
I’ve indicated with an arrow the exact spot inside the mall even though it’s been torn down.
Here’s another strip from 1989. I thought I’d share it because I liked it.

When people are living in their press board apartments on the site of the Laguna Hills Mall, they won't even be aware of the linguistic history that took place there.
I really love the 1989 Santa strip! Ralph may as well have told him what he wanted for Christmas while he was sitting there!
Nice and early today! I also love the sketches. It's like The Secret Language of Drabble, I can't understand or make out 99% of it, but it all makes sense to you.
