Hi everybody!

A very long newsletter today.

A member of my family was surprised to learn than I don’t get cartoon ideas from people-watching. It’s true. I never go people-watching, and I can’t think of a time when I saw a stranger doing something that inspired a strip. So where my ideas come from? I don’t use gag writers, although my family inspires me now and then. The easy and truthful answer has always been, I don’t know! But really should try harder to explain how almost 17,000 (and counting) comic strips came into existence. Hopefully I’ll think of a better answer after we look at our strips from today’s date, tomorrow’s date, and Saturday’s…
